Who we are

Who we are

YetuPay is building the digital infrastructure for payments, wallets, and financial services in the Democratic Republic of the Congo — a secure, modular platform for customers, merchants, institutions, and investors, designed to connect modern finance to everyday life across the country.

Our Mission

To make secure, modern financial services accessible to every individual, business, and institution in the DRC — starting with a digital wallet, and expanding into the full range of payment, business, and government services the country needs.

Our Values

Trust

We build for people entrusting us with their money — every decision starts from what keeps that trust intact.

Integrity

We say what's actually true about our platform, including what isn't built yet — not what sounds best.

Security

We treat the security of customer funds and data as a first-class engineering requirement, not an afterthought.

Innovation

We build modern, API-first infrastructure designed to grow with the needs of the DRC's digital economy.

Financial Inclusion

We design for a market where a large share of people are unbanked — access and simplicity matter as much as features.

Customer Success

We measure our own success by whether the people and businesses using YetuPay actually succeed.

Leadership
SK

Samuel Kanyinda is the founder and CEO of YetuPay. A software engineer based in Japan since 2015, he has spent more than seven years designing and delivering secure, scalable software systems for Japanese enterprises — experience spanning full-stack development, cloud architecture, API design, DevOps, and cybersecurity. Drawing on that background, he founded YetuPay to expand access to modern digital financial services in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, combining international engineering practices with a close focus on local market needs. His long-term vision is to grow YetuPay into a trusted financial infrastructure platform for the DRC, with room to extend into Central and East Africa over time.

Our Commitment

YetuPay is built for BCC compliance from day one, with a phased rollout aligned to regulatory requirements. We would rather ship fewer claims that are true than a longer list that isn't.
